CoolSculpting Is Also Good for Gynecomastia Treatments

Don’t think for a second that body contouring is only for women. Both men and women alike seek the ultimate body. And for many of us, that means spending hours in the gym and eating healthy as much as possible. But let’s be real. Most of us have incredibly busy schedules that conflict with such a routine. That doesn’t mean being in shape is impossible. It just needs assistance sometimes.

CoolSculpting™ by ZELTIQ delivers an answer to those who are looking to eliminate stubborn fat. Even those who do workout regularly and eat right can experience excess fat in certain places. And CoolSculpting provides the solution to just that. In my last blog, I revisited a number of reasons why CoolSculpting is getting so increasingly-popular.

To reiterate, it is not surgery. Therefore, without cutting, needles, anesthesia or the risks that come with invasive procedures like liposuction, CoolSculpting is automatically the safest way to eliminate fat. But as I mentioned off the top of the last blog, this treatment doesn’t burn fat – it freezes it! So how does that work exactly?

CoolSculpting targets fat cells. The fat cells freeze at different temperatures than your skin and other body tissues. That means that they can be frozen while the rest of you remains unharmed. The cooling method breaks down these cells by freezing them so that the body’s natural cleansing process can dispose of them.

This results in a noticeable reduction of fat in the targeted areas. Each procedure can take no more than an hour or two. So it is not only safe, but it’s pretty quick as well. But how are the fat cells actually targeted? Patients are fitted with a device to a specific part of their bodies where unwanted fat is located. Remember, no one is put under. It’s not necessary.

And why would it be? No one is cutting you open! There are, of course, a number of areas where unwanted fat may be lurking. CoolSculpting™ can treat areas such as the abdomen or belly (my friend Dave would love this), love handles and muffin tops (essentially, your sides), back fat, inner thighs and even gynecomastia, which refers to excess fat in the male chest.  See the images below for before and after photos of male gynecomastia coolsculpting treatments.

As always, contact a trained doctor to learn more about the procedures that you are interested in. As cool and as safe as CoolSculpting is, this recommendation remains. Remember, it isn’t for everyone, as it is not meant for those who are severely overweight. Get the information you need to make the decision that is right for you. It just may be the coolest thing you ever do.
