CoolSculpting Continues To Make Headlines

For some people, no information could possibly be true unless it’s reported by news broadcasts. Some people simply can’t take your word for it. This is sometimes how I feel when discussing CoolSculpting with friends and family. Often, simply because they haven’t heard of it before, and I’m the only one providing them with information about it, they are hesitant to believe that it is a real solution to fat removal.

Thankfully, I’m not alone in my belief that CoolSculpting is the wave of the future when it comes to eliminating stubborn fat. A fantastic YouTube video highlighting a number of news reports about CoolSculpting has come to my rescue. Many of the clips from the video showcase doctors describing the wondrous effects of the fat-freezing procedure and how it will only become more popular.

“This is sort of the next generation of technology that’s probably going to supersede liposuction,” says Dr. Nancy Snyderman who serves as NBC’s News Chief Medical Editor. One of the reasons that CoolSculpting is likely to usurp liposuction as the go-to fat-eliminating treatment is because of how safe it is by comparison. CoolSculpting isn’t surgery. No cutting and no downtime is needed.

However, it is also likely to only grow in popularity because of how necessary fat-removal has become for a good portion of our population. Stubborn fat is called stubborn fat for a reason. So, in many cases, good dieting and exercise will still be unsuccessful in completely removing it. In one clip from the YouTube video, a guest on “The Rachel Ray Show” explains.

“No matter how much diet and exercise (you get), our hormones change, your metabolism slows (and) you’re really not able to lose those pockets of fat like you were earlier in life,” she states. CoolSculpting, therefore, is able to pick up where your body left off. When your body isn’t disposing of fat cells on its own, this innovative procedure helps to freeze them away.

The technology is based on the discovery that fat cells freeze at a different temperature than the rest of your surrounding cells, tissue and skin. As a result, CoolSculpting is able to break down those fat cells, using its cooling process, so that the body can get the assistance it needs to break down and naturally remove those fat cells. Unlike with liposuction, no damage is done to the rest of your body.

Perhaps the news clips shown in the YouTube video are what you need to be convinced to give CoolSculpting a try. Patients who have given it a try report seeing up to a 25% reduction in fat and now enjoy slimmer, more contoured bodies. You never know, you may be the next person to be interviewed by a local news team about your amazing results. But you many need some more information.

As always, your best bet is to contact an experienced physician with your questions. Just like with anything else, the more accurate information you have, the easier it will be to make decisions that are right for you. A “cool” new you awaits!
